Aaron Sele

Aaron Sele was a pitcher for the Mets in 2007. He made 34 relief appearances for the team. Sele recorded three wins and 29 strikeouts as a Met.
In ’07, Sele joined the Mets as a free agent after fourteen major league seasons. At Washington on April 28, he pitched one and one-third scoreless innings for the win in a 6-2 Mets victory over the Nationals. Aaron had a pair of scoreless innings pitched and got the win in the Mets’ 5-3 victory in 17 innings at Houston on July 7. He hurled three innings and picked up the win in a 13-9 Mets triumph at Los Angeles on July 19. Sele also pitched three and one-third scoreless innings in a 6-2 Mets loss at Chicago on August 4.
Following his pitching career, Sele became an instructor in the Dodgers’ minor league system.
