Angel Berroa

Angel Berroa was a shortstop for the Mets in 2009. He played in 14 games with the team. Berroa had four hits and four runs scored as a Met.
In ’09, Berroa joined the Mets in his ninth major league season. He singled and scored a run in a 5-4 Mets loss at Houston on July 24. Angel had a two-run double in the Mets’ 7-0 win over the Rockies in the first game of a doubleheader at Citi Field on July 30. He also singled and scored in a 9-6 Mets victory over the Diamondbacks on August 1 at Citi Field.
Berroa played for the Giants’ AAA-level team in Fresno in 2010. He joined the Diamondbacks’ organization in 2011.
