Robert Allen Parnell (born September 8, 1984 in Salisbury, North Carolina) is an American pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball. He was drafted by the Mets in the ninth round of the 2005 MLB Draft after attending college at Charleston Southern University.

On July 8, 2009, Against the Dodgers in July Daniel Murphy made a play to first base by throwing the ball behind his back to Bobby Parnell who was on first base and made the catch to complete the play. It received the number one web gem of the day.
On June 20, 2010, The Mets called up Parnell to take over Jenrry Mejia's spot in the Mets Bullpen. Parnell pitched the 7th inning in relief in the Tigers @ Mets Series in Game 1 making it his first 2010 day view since being called up on the 20th of June to replace Jenrry Mejia's spot in the bullpen.
